Rogers 2-Tone Deus Program -- Version 2 Software
This is a two tone program that worked a treat when tested on in ground targets, why use more than two tones, even if you have four tones your going to dig all but the low iron tone anyway, so were's the point, just leave the low iron tones, and dig the high tones, if you get a mixed high/low tone, scrape some soil away to get closer to the target, if that doesn't help dig it out. Just to add to the above, I personaly now prefer setting the "Iron Volume" to 0, which then gives us a one tone program, it's just personal preference, either way performance is the same.

Sens: 86 TX: 3 (Set sens according to ground conditions & local interference, idealy it should be set high enough so you get a few spits and cracks while

Iron Volume: 0 (setting this to 0 gets rid of the constant low tones on iron, without loss of performance, you will still get a few spits and cracks while over iron if the sens is
set high enough, beware of the "hollow" loud sounding response, this will be large iron usually)
Reactivity: 2 (Set to 3 only if plenty of iron around) Silencer: 1
Audio R: 3 (I wouldn't set this too high as It will distort the audio)
Notch: 00-00
GB: Tracking (After more testing i've found setting the GB to "Tracking" gives a slight advantage over "manual" and "pumping", it keeps the machine within one
numbers of the actual ground reading.)

Rogers Deus Depthmaster Program
The 13" X 11" large Deus coil was really made to be used with the 4Khz Frequency, but i found the 8 Khz frequency just as good, I think many sold their large coils because they used it on the high 18 Khz frequency, and therefore didn't find it much better than the stock coil apart from the extra ground coverage, also if there's plenty of iron around you'll get some serious target masking, this program should be used on sites with low to moderate iron including pasture, i found i could get the Sensitivity higher on the large coil than the stock coil, don't swing too fast with the low reactivity setting, this is a two tone program, obviously dig the high tones and leave the low tones, if you get a "mixed" tone then scrape some soil away to get closer to the target, you can also check the signal at 90 degree's, but as always, if in any doubt, dig it out
